Siete Lagos Side Trip
I used a series of long distance buses to return north through Argentina. Two of these journeys were over 20 hours long! So, to break up the sitting, I did a quick 3-day bike tour through the Siete Lagos.
After the cold weather down south, this was a chance to do some summer camping. I jumped in the lakes at the end of each day. But the road, mountains, towns, and traffic reminded me of popular destinations in California or Colorado. And for that matter, I was more in awe of the Carretera Austral lakes and mountains just a month ago.
